We're a community of people from all ages and all backgrounds who love God and love each other. We meet every Sunday afternoons as a whole church and also in smaller groups during the week. Community and relationship is at the heart of who we are. We want to build strong friendships with one another and encourage each other in our relationship with God.

Our Vision is “to build a significant church in Loughborough that reaches out to all, seeing lives transformed by the power of God.”

Why 'The Well'?

The Well is named after a story in the bible in John 4. In the story, Jesus meets a Samaritan woman at a well, where he is resting after a long journey. Jesus speaks to the woman about her life, and about who he is and how he can give her living water that will satisfy her thirst. Through this encounter the woman’s life is changed, and she goes back to her town and tells everyone about Jesus. Because of her testimony many come to believe in Jesus.

At The Well, we want to be a place where people can meet with Jesus. Many people are thirsting after meaning in their life, and search for it in things which can only quench their thirst for a short time. We believe that Jesus is the Son of God, who knows all about us, just as he did the woman in the story. We believe that today, just as then, people can come to know Jesus, who is alive today, and in this relationship satisfy their thirst and find answers to life.

Serving the Community

We are keen to be involved in Loughborough and provide events and activities for the community.

For several years we have run an ESOL English Language School Tuesday mornings during term time.

We run a Kidz Klub in school holidays

We like to get out on the streets of Loughborough; you’ll find our Street teams in Loughborough town centre on Wednesday afternoons.

We recognise that we are blessed by some highly talented musicians and so hold an Acoustic night once a term in a local pub.

As a church we support compassion UK (http://www.compassionuk.org/) between us we sponsor and support over 20 children in Kenya

We’re developing links to support other community organisations in Loughborough such as a women’s refuge, schools work and social action projects in partnerships with other churches.
