We meet every Sunday at the United Reformed Church Building, 4pm - 5.45pm.
What can I expect?
The Well Church is very relaxed, so please don’t worry about dressing up for church. We start with tea, coffee and cake, giving you a chance to get to know people and meet some friendly faces.
We give plenty of time to worshipping God, joyfully and exuberantly, celebrating what God has done for us and giving him our praise. We encourage people to participate in our meetings, bringing words or pictures from God, reading passages or speaking out a ‘tongue’. The bible calls these spiritual gifts, given by God to encourage one another as we worship him. Don’t worry though, there is no pressure to contribute, our guests are very welcome to just enjoy the atmosphere.
We believe that the bible is the word of God, and is relevant for today, so we also have teaching each week.
Kids
Children and families are a valuable part of The Well Church. We want church to be engaging for the whole family so we begin our Sunday meetings with worship all together. The children then go to their ‘Live wires’ groups for teaching, fun, games, dramas, crafts and worship; helping them develop their own faith in God. We currently have 2 different age groups, and also crèche for the youngest children.
