Martin Bull is the lead elder and works full-time for the church. He is married to Linda and they have three children; Nathan, Eleanor and Isaac. Martin and Linda moved to Loughborough in late 2000 after God spoke to them about supporting a church plant in the Midlands. Martin began leading the church in January 2007. In his spare time, Martin is a keen canoeist, a wannabe triathlete and generally loves being outdoors.
Keith and Denise Munro came to Loughborough over 25 years ago to be part of a local church. Keith set up and runs The SOaR Project, working in over 40 local schools and help many local churches with their outreach to young people and their families. Keith and Denise have 3 older children, and recently became grandparents. They have a passion for discipleship and enabling Christians to share their faith. They both like rugby and cooking, and Keith has a thing for cars!
Keith became an elder in February 2018.
Saul Algar has been part of The Well Church ever since becoming a Christian in 2010, whilst studying for his degree at Loughborough University. Saul is married to Sarah and they have a daughter, Ruth. Together they lead outreach at The Well Church. Saul works as an engineer in the oil & gas industry and also finds time to squeeze in plenty of talking, board games, DIY and the occasional computer game.
Saul became an elder in February 2018.
WIDER LEADERSHIP TEAM
We are always looking to expand our leadership, so we work with a wider team including Tom and Hannah Gooding.
Tom Gooding is married to Hannah and has two boys – Joel and Luke. Arriving in Loughborough back in 2007 as a fresher (doing Automotive Engineering), Tom has stayed here ever since! Now, he is a diesel engineer at Denso. He enjoys playing football, has a passion for music (both playing and listening) and is really into Lego. Since September 2017, Tom has been leading the worship team.
Sarah Algar works part-time as Church Administrator. Sarah moved to Loughborough in 2008 to come to University. Sarah is married to Saul and together they lead the Alpha Course & outreach for The Well Church. Alongside working for The Well Church she coaches gymnastics and occasionally enjoys doing some flips herself!
The Well church is a registered charity (no. 1109526) and has a team of Trustees; Martin Bull, Tim Aston, Chris Collins and Saul Algar who are responsible for financial legal and health and safety matters.
