The government recently announced a step up in the fight against Coronavirus. We’ve been told to “stay at home” and “only leave the house for essential purposes”.

Whilst this seems drastic, as a church we want to serve our country well and help protect the lives of the most vulnerable.

We have therefore decided (like many churches) to cancel all meetings including Community Groups, Language School, GLOW, Lounge etc. until further notice. I know these are difficult times and we will all miss the direct fellowship we love.

In place of our Sunday meetings, we plan to use a conference call and watch a video preach – keeping a sense of togetherness despite being apart. Below is the format for us all to use on Sunday.

  • 10.30am Conference Call from Martin (or other)
    • Welcome message, Introduction, Encouragement and comment.
  • 10.45am Invite people to worship God, using the video on our YouTube channel – ‘Well Church Loughborough
  • 11.10am Invite people to watch video preach (also on our YouTube Channel)
  • 11.30am Group Discussion – Arranged through Community Groups

Relationships within community groups will also be paramount so please continue to communicate and look out for each other as we work out good ways of staying connected.

Let’s all be on the front foot to care for one another wherever we can and reach out in love to those around us.

Remember: none of this is taking our Heavenly Father by surprise. WE ARE IN SAFE IN HIS HANDS.

He can use this time for His purposes in our lives, our church and our nation.
